I know I'm late with my posting but a lot has been going on lately.  My born day (b-day) was July 24th.  I had a b-day dinner with my closest's family and friends on Friday July 22nd.  My sister's baby shower was on that Saturday so I was major busy with that.  I have attended a total of 3 baby showers about a week apart, pics to come soon from those as well.  I wanted to share with you the amazing time I have at my dinner party which was held at the The Oceanaire Seafood Room the food was great and so was my guest.  We laughed, talked and just enjoyed ourselves.  After dinner, we headed over to my fav Karaoke spot I told you guys about it here although I did not sing karaoke I had fun watching those who did.  Hope you ladies enjoy the pics.  Until next time.

Out the Closet

Happy Tuesday Fashionista's,

My post today is inspired by my blue pencil skirt.  I've had this skirt for years…so long I can't recall where I purchased it from.  I found this baby in the back of my closet way deep down in that jungle...lol.  It has been extremely HOT here in DC, so I have vowed to wear skirts all this week.  I’m glad I made that decision, because it’s been too darn hot to wear slacks.  I had my brother to take a few photos of me to post and I’m secretly using my sister’s computer to upload my pics…shhhh.  Anyway back to the skirt, I just love the color, it stands out completely.  I opted to wear my black netted top with specks of blue, white and fuschia along with my fuschia heels.  What do you Fashionista’s think?

Ce-le-brate Good Times

Ok, so it looks like me and my camera will soon part ways.  I’ve had it for two years now & its still working but since I’ve lost my USB cord, I can’t tell if my camera’s USB port just doesn’t work or if it’s the two other USB cords that don’t work.  I have been laxing on my blog post (not purposely), but here are some pics of me & my friends at a day party that we attended last week.  I had to put my memory card in my computer to get these pics, but here they are.  My b-day is about two weeks away so maybe I can throw some hints out to my family about a new camera.  Hope you enjoy the pics.

Ok ladies, so I’m back from my vacation and I must admit I had a great time. I chilled with my friends and enjoyed myself.  My camera’s USB cord is still missing. But I was able to get the IT guy at my job to download my photos on my flash drive. So here are a few photos I wanted to share with you guys from my vacation.  Make sure to hit up Mangos and Wet Willies should you ever go to South Beach. Best 2^nd vacation ever.

I am back to the blogging world, well not 100% but I’m almost there. I lost my camera’s USB cord, and then my laptop starting acting up on me. So I need a new USB cord to upload my pictures, plus a battery for my laptop.  A little sad because I can’t blog at work unless I get some down time which, isn’t often.  I have the opportunity to do it right now, so I wanted to tell you guys about my new shoe purchase.  When I saw them, I feel in love.  I do a lot of shopping it’s one of my many favorite things to do, just like my blogging.  I was doing some online shopping and guess what I came across? My shoes.  I took them with my camera but because my USB cord is missing the online pics are the next best thing.  I can’t wait to show you guys what I will wear them with.  I have the perfect outfit.  I am going on vacation on Friday, and hopefully when I come back everything will be up & running. I will have so many things to share with you.

A Night To Remember

So sorry that I have been neglecting my blog…its become one of my favorite things to do since I started it.  I have been quite the busy bee literally, with work and school and just events that I have been invited to.  Not a lot of time in a day, at least for me.  I have taken pics of my outings just haven’t found the time to put them up yet.  I promise you guys this weekend I'll catch myself up J.  I wanted to share with you all a few photos from my baby sister and cousin (who’s growing up into such beautiful ladies) prom pics.  I am so excited for them, they are closing the first chapter of their life to embark on possibly a new chapter that will be the start of their future.  It brought back memories of myself when I went to my 12th grade prom, woo that was 10 years ago…I wish I could’ve found some of my old pics of that experience to share with you all.  Enjoy and I’ll blog with you guys later.

1st Week of May

CINCO DE MAYO!!!

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5.  The date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride and to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War.  Cinco de Mayo is observed by many Americans regardless of their ethnic origin and is celebrated nationwide in the United States.  So me and a few of my chicas celebrated this great holiday for/with our girl Marta, who is absolutely the best chica de compañía (PARTY GIRL) to be around J…we enjoyed our festivities at Uncle Julios with a round of great drinks & food.  What did u guys do for Cinco de Mayo?
