Block of Colors

Fashionista's

I wanted to first start off by saying Happy Holidays...Its almost turkey day and I just love the time I get to spend with my fam.  I am thankful for everything I have and for my blog because I get to express myself and meet new people while doing so.  Today's outfit is by far one of my favorites, this is an outfit that I thrifted awhile back (from two different thrift stores) and I just love this blazer.  The blazer have so many colors that I can pair it with just about anything.  I have so many other ideas of what I want to wear with it.

Tuesday Shoes Day

Happy Tuesday Fashionista's

I know black Friday is coming up but I just couldn't resist the sales that are already going on.  I went to the mall to purchase a pair of black tapered pants (on my lunch break) and ended up with the two beauties listed below.  Another two boxes to stuff in my already over-crowded closet.  I will soon have to re-organize it for better use of space.  Needless to say I never made it into the store to get my black pants because I ran slightly overtime...lol.  So I'll be heading back to the mall on Friday, maybe my pants will be marked down even more.  By the way ladies Bakers have a great sale...HAPPY SHOPPING.

Go Glam and Get Gorgeous

I attended a pre-holiday event at the Aloft Hotel on Friday. The event was hosted by the fashion bloggr Myss of the Glamourholics.  There were a variety of things to go at this event such as shopping, mini- runway shows, giveaways, make-up tips and more.  I didn't get to take many photos but here are some to preview.

I just loved the colors they had available

Although I love the summer months, mainly because I get to wear short skirts and open toe heels among other things of course, but I've been super excited about the winter time.  I have been doing some heavy shopping to get my closet ready for these upcoming cold months.  I recently received my winter edition of my Victoria's Secret Catalog and I just couldn't put it down.  I have decided to list some of my favorites that I plan on adding to my fall/winter clothing collection.

These Boots R Made 4 Walking

Happy Friday Fashionista's,

I wanted to show you ladies my most recent Fall purchase.  I am so excited that Fall is here, I am a shoe fanatic and I have decided that I don't have enough boots in my closet, a girl can never have too many pairs  of shoes.  Boots and coats are what I will be focusing on for the cold days ahead.  Anywho, I am particularly excited about this post, my brother just purchased the MacBook Pro by Apple, I am totally in LOVE.  I am typing this up from it now and the features are to die for.  When I saw all the features that you can do with your photos I was SOLD.  You will see what I'm talking about once you see my pics below.  I purchased my boots from Bakers, and I have added the link for you here hope you ladies enjoy the pics.  I just can't get these features out of my mind...lol

CASUAL MONDAY

Hi Fashionista's,

Unlike some of you who may have stayed home on this holiday I had to work.  So instead of wearing my usual slacks and blouses, I opted for some jeans and a button down top with a vest.  My company is pretty business casual but we only wear slacks on Friday's, half-days, which is usually the Friday before a Holiday or when we have special events.  I won't bore you ladies with a long drawn out speech, so here's my pics for today.  I apologize for the blurry photos my camera was gloing dead which made my flash stop working.

Floral Heaven

Hello Fashionista's,

I have been extremely busy, work and school have taken completely over.  Between audits and writing papers I don't know if I'm coming or going.  I am so in need of a vacation...Any who, The weather here in DC has been great, although we've had some rain over the last week, it has been very refreshing.  So today I was finally able to take some pics for an outfit post...I know, its been awhile.  The dress that I have on I got from Target for only $20 bucks.  This was my 2nd time rocking this beautiful floral piece and I absolutely love it.  The colors are so vibrant (major color-blocking this way) and everytime I look at the dress it makes me smile. :)

Color Blocking-Purple

This past weekend I attended a Purple & White Midnight Cruise B-Day Party on the Spirit of Baltimore.  I figured this woulb be fairly easy because I had a lot of purple in my closet, but not so much white.  So I decided to put my purple skirt I got not to long ago to work...again.  My friends and I decided to stay overnight in B-More since the boat was not arriving back to the Harbor until 4am.  I had a fabulous time and enjoyed spending it with my friends and family.  That morning we had brunch at Miss Shirley's Cafe the atmosphere was great, but I was disappointed with the menu, but of course I made the best out of it.  The ride home was smooth, my friends and I talked about our other upcoming events that we plan to attend this year along with our 2012 planned trips...yes I said 2012, we have 4 trips planned so far and I'm overly excited about them.  Well enough about that, here are a few pics from my weekend event.
