Ok ladies, so I’m back from my vacation and I must admit I had a great time. I chilled with my friends and enjoyed myself.  My camera’s USB cord is still missing. But I was able to get the IT guy at my job to download my photos on my flash drive. So here are a few photos I wanted to share with you guys from my vacation.  Make sure to hit up Mangos and Wet Willies should you ever go to South Beach. Best 2^nd vacation ever.

I am back to the blogging world, well not 100% but I’m almost there. I lost my camera’s USB cord, and then my laptop starting acting up on me. So I need a new USB cord to upload my pictures, plus a battery for my laptop.  A little sad because I can’t blog at work unless I get some down time which, isn’t often.  I have the opportunity to do it right now, so I wanted to tell you guys about my new shoe purchase.  When I saw them, I feel in love.  I do a lot of shopping it’s one of my many favorite things to do, just like my blogging.  I was doing some online shopping and guess what I came across? My shoes.  I took them with my camera but because my USB cord is missing the online pics are the next best thing.  I can’t wait to show you guys what I will wear them with.  I have the perfect outfit.  I am going on vacation on Friday, and hopefully when I come back everything will be up & running. I will have so many things to share with you.

A Night To Remember

So sorry that I have been neglecting my blog…its become one of my favorite things to do since I started it.  I have been quite the busy bee literally, with work and school and just events that I have been invited to.  Not a lot of time in a day, at least for me.  I have taken pics of my outings just haven’t found the time to put them up yet.  I promise you guys this weekend I'll catch myself up J.  I wanted to share with you all a few photos from my baby sister and cousin (who’s growing up into such beautiful ladies) prom pics.  I am so excited for them, they are closing the first chapter of their life to embark on possibly a new chapter that will be the start of their future.  It brought back memories of myself when I went to my 12th grade prom, woo that was 10 years ago…I wish I could’ve found some of my old pics of that experience to share with you all.  Enjoy and I’ll blog with you guys later.

1st Week of May

CINCO DE MAYO!!!

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5.  The date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride and to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War.  Cinco de Mayo is observed by many Americans regardless of their ethnic origin and is celebrated nationwide in the United States.  So me and a few of my chicas celebrated this great holiday for/with our girl Marta, who is absolutely the best chica de compañía (PARTY GIRL) to be around J…we enjoyed our festivities at Uncle Julios with a round of great drinks & food.  What did u guys do for Cinco de Mayo?

Celebration of Life

Today was my best friend of 12 years 28th birthday.  We celebrated her day with a dinner at the infamous Ruth's Chris Steak House  Quite surprised we didn't have to do any dishes afterwards...joking.  This was not just a celebration of her b-day but of our friendship as well.  I absolutely love hanging out with my friends.  If we are ever to enjoy life, now is the time - not tomorrow, or next year.  Celebrating the journey that wer are on in our lives together.  Why should our problems & troubles get all the attention.  Celebrate the little things in life, appreciate today & tomorrow.  Celebrate your life and the lives of the people that are in yours...Be Thankful For What You Have. Appreciation of Friends

ME & MY GIRLFRIENDS

Hello world.  I know I’m late but since Essence has declared April 13^th as “Girlfriends Appreciation Day” I wanted to share with you a few photos of me & my friends. I am glad to say that I have known these ladies for over 10 yrs & counting. Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we’re not all still friends…I love my girls.

Karaoke Night = Fun Times

Ok...so my older sis set up an evening for the ladies to get together and have a great night out.  I must admit, I enjoyed my Friday night out with a few family and friends at the Italian Inn Restaurant & bar. There were drinks food and karaoke singing going on.  Although I didn't get up and sing I did enjoy watching everyone else who did.  My cousin song "Getting In The Way" by Jill Scott. My sister song "Tyrone" by Erykah Badu, her co-worker Joy song "Can We Talk" by Tevin Campbell & had me singing it the following day.  Overall it was a great night and my friends and I plan to visit that spot again...Until next time, XOXO.
