My Visions

Hi Fashionista's,

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday and got what your heart desired.  So the countdown to the New Year...2012 is just 4 days away, I can't believe that this year is over.  I have had some ups and downs and have made some changes and I plan to take those changes with me into 2012, I've learned to appreciate ME more & I've also starting back with writing in my journal.  This particular post, I wanted to give you ladies a sneak peak on my vision wall and book.  I first heard about the vision book from Necole Bitchie I just love her and I had been going back & forth with myself on whether I should do a board or a book, so I decided that I would do a book that would showcase my life's goals that I would like to accomplish or do over the next few years, the wall...I had to first see the best location, at first I thought behind my bed, but then I realized that its something that I will need to look at or add to everyday, so I decided to put my vision wall up directly in front of my bed, it will be the first thing I see when I wake and the last thing I see when I go to sleep.  I'm starting with a clean slate, fresh and new and I must say I am excited to see the outcome and my vision wall will be a constant reminder.  I have taken a few pics of some of my items that I purchased and of course my clippings and any ideas that you ladies have for me I would be more than happy to hear.  I hope you all enjoy your New Years and I'll see you in 2012.

Blogger Obsession: My Faves

Fashionista's,

I want to thank the person who created blogging.  I love to take pictures and write so it works out so well for me. When I first started blogging I thought it would just be something that I would do for fun, but over the past few months I have learned so much and I know this is something that I would continue to do.  On the other hand, I have enjoyed reading other bloggers post and they definitely inspire me with the outfits that several of the ladies put together, it has opened my eyes up to fashion 100% more.  I have been attended events and have had the opportunity to meet some bloggers, I didn't know that we had so many bloggers in the DC area, and I love it.  It's so great to have a group of women come together in support of one another and to just talk about all things FASHION....and we all have that in our own unique way.  Enough with my babbling, I wanted to share a few of my favorite blogs that I am obsessing over (in a good way), I am always eager to see what these ladies are blogging about and/or wearing.  I have learned so much from them just from looking at their blogs, be it from photography to style.  I hope you ladies enjoy their blogs just as much as I do.

Bloggers Night Out-Bloomingdales

Hi Fashionista's,

I'm back 100% until the next semester of classes start.  I attended the 2nd annual DC Bloggers Night Out event on Wednesday that was held at Bloomingdales by #BNO and had a fantastic time.  I got a chance to see some old blogger friends and meet some new ones.  There were some great fashion finds and fashionista's at the event, it was great to see everyone mingling and snapping away.  So without further adieu here are some pictures to review.

LUST LIST - HANDBAGS

Hey Fashionista’s

Who doesn't love a good statement accessory, I sure got the memo.  I have been lusting over accessories lately and hangbags are at the top of my list.  You can never go wrong with a gorgeous handbag that just makes your outfit stand out that much more.  So I have listed a few of my favorite styles that I plan on adding to my closet and all of these styles and more can be found on the ASOS website.

GOODWILL HUNTING

Hi Fashionista's,

This evening I attended my first blogging event given by Capital Area Fashion & Beauty Bloggers for some holiday shopping and a blogger meet-up.  What better way for social networking than shopping.  There were vintage and comtemporary clothing along with handbags and shoes.  I enjoyed my time meeting new bloggers and of course shopping.

I purchased these beauties below for $11.00
